CAD/CAM
Our preproduction process uses CAD/CAM technology to assist our professionals in the recreation of the objects provided to the most detailed specifications.
Starting with a model provided by our customer we create or recreate the tool and die in an electronic format using CAD - Computer Aided Design software. The process is then handed over to the CAM – Computer Assisted Manufacturing system for final production.
CAD
Computer Aided Design is a design process used in many industries, in our case we use Solidworks software. In Solidworks designs can be viewed from any angle. Measurements and other specifications can be changed with the touch of a button. This allows for easy customization and rapid design changes, producing a quick turn around for our customers and a more responsive design process.
CAM
We use Mastercam in the shop to partner with Solidworks. Because each of the many manufacturing processes in a CAM system is computer controlled, a high degree of precision can be achieved that is not possible with a human interface. Our technology allows us to machine parts to less than 1/1000” tolerance. The automatic controls of the Solidworks make it possible for us to adjust the machinery automatically for each different order, providing greater flexibility in the manufacturing process.
